PREMISE: The women's clubs in the New York area are having an "original play" contest, and Lucy hopes her club can win. She pens a melodrama with a Cuban locale and expects husband Ricky to play the lead. When he refuses, she changes the locale to England, and gives the part to Fred. Then Ricky discovers some important talent scouts have agreed to judge the plays -- and decides he ought to be in the show afterall.
