PREMISE: Ricky is looking for a couple of new acts for his nightclub show: a ballerina and a baggy-pants clown. Lucy reminds everyone that she took ballet lessons as a child -- and promptly starts working with dance coach Madame LaMond. The results are disastrous -- so she tries her skills as a burlesque comic instead.

"The Ballet" was one of three episodes melded together to form the "I Love Lucy" Feature Film. The other two were episodes #13 ("The Benefit") and 18 ("Breaking the Lease"). For more information see "I Love Lucy Movie Found".
This was Lucille Ball's first appearance with character actress Mary Wickes. The two became good friends, and Mary would appear many times on Lucy's later series, The Lucy Show and Here's Lucy.
