PREMISE: It's the ladies vs. the gents when Lucy and Ethel bet their husbands that they can live the "pioneer existence" of their ancestors. The Ricardos and the Mertzes turn back the clock to the Gay Nineties... don clothes of the era -- and Lucy even tries her hand at baking homemade bread. A crisis ensues, however, when two ladies from the Society Matrons' League (a prestigious organization in which Lucy and Ethel hope to gain membership) drop by unexpectedly.
