Notes:

This episode included Lucy's wacky impression of the Arnazes' good friend, Carmen Miranda.

When Desilu filmed the show on September 21, many celebrity guests were on hand to watch the fun. In the audience that night were Rosalind Russell and her husband Fred Brisson, who posed for the cameras after the show with Desi and Lucy. Both ladies, of course, would later entertain us as the irrepressible Auntie Mame...

Also on hand was Vivian Vance's friend from Broadway, actress Theresa Wright.
