PREMISE: The Ricardos are sharing a good book -- reading aloud -- but when the Mertzes overhear, they jump to the conclusion that Lucy and Ricky are fighting. Later, Ricky tosses Lucy the book and accidentally hits her in the face, causing a black eye. The Mertzes think the "shiner" is the result of the Ricardos' fight -- and no amount of talk will change their minds.
