I LOVE LUCY: 50th Anniversary Special

The following was posted 11/13/01:

From Annabel Esperanza:

I really enjoyed the 50th Anniversary Special. I really enjoyed seeing Lucie and Desi in Jamestown. I was touched on how Desi was touched by being there. I think Lucie and Desi and all of the producers and directors did a great job putting together this special. I was wondering about the houses where Lucy was born and grew up in. Who owns these houses now, and does anyone live there now?

All in all I think the show was great.

The house in Celeron in which Lucy spent much of her childhood was up for sale a few months ago. I believe it sold, and will be occupied by the new owners. One of the reasons the home was so well preserved is it has been owned by only one family ever since Lucy's mother and grandfather moved to California in 1934.
