From D Bendel:

Whatever happened to Bobby the Bellboy (in the California episodes)? Is he alive or dead? What other things did he do besides I Love Lucy?

* * * * *

Like many of the I Love Lucy players, Bobby Jellison had an extensive career in 1940s radio. He was cast in one of the first television situation comedies -- the original Life of Riley series starring Jackie Gleason. The show was broadcast over NBC during the 1949-50 season.

Jellison made his first appearance on I Love Lucy in the spring of 1952, when he played the Milkman in the "Gossip" episode. He later, of course, played Bobby the Bellboy in six of the Hollywood shows, and played a similar role in "Lucy Hunts Uranium," the third of the Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show hour specials, telecast in 1958.

Mr. Jellison passed away many years ago (exact date unknown).
