Lucy Photos of the Week

50 years ago this week (on October 29, 1951), I Love Lucy presented "The Diet," an episode which featured a dance number from the Arnazes' real-life vaudeville act.

"Cuban Pete/Sally Sweet" was one of the highlights of that act, and when used here, in I Love Lucy Episode #4, it afforded Lucy Ricardo the rare opportunity to perform in a show and not "mess up." The number is one of our favorites!
