While visiting Jamestown over Memorial Day, I discovered yet another great reason for joining the Lucy-Desi Museum: member-only premiums! Yes, there are items that are only available for sale to museum members...
New this year are Member Only Afghans (see photos, right), which feature the museum logo and the member's name. The hand-loomed, 100% acrylic blanket measures 36 by 63 inches, and is available in three color schemes: black and off-white; hunter green and off-white; or navy and off-white. (Please note: one afgham per member -- so choose your color carefully!)
Afghans cost $79.95 (plus $5.85 shipping and handling), and are produced by Roclith, a West Virginia firm. (West Virginia residents must include $4.80 sales tax.)
