Happy New Year one and all...
January marks the start of the annual show-business awards presentations. The People's Choice Awards air this coming Sunday, January 9. The Golden Globes follow a week later. The "biggies" -- the motion picture Academy Awards -- air Sunday, February 27.
TV Land has scheduled its annual celebration of classic television to air sometime in March, and I Love Lucy has been nominated in four of its uniquely TV Land categories:
- Singing Siblings: Teensy & Weensy
- King/Queen of the Comeback (line): Fred Mertz
- Chic-est Decor: The Ricardos' Hollywood digs
- Favorite Catch Phrase: "It's so tasty, too!"
YOU, of course, can help determine the winners of the TV Land Awards. All you have to do is visit on the TV Land website, click on the Awards logo, and vote! Let's make Lucy a big winner this year!
