Dear Fellow Lucy Fans,

50th Anniversary Tour...

Am sorry to report that the "I Love Lucy: 50th Anniversary Tour" is in "dry-dock" for a while. The tour may play one or two of the big state fairs later this summer, but plans have not yet been finalized. It certainly will not be making the extensive, on-going cross-country tour that was undertaken last summer. We will keep you posted as dates-and-locations become available.

Jamestown Festival - August 2, 3, 4

Plans are coming together, however, for this summer's "Lucy's Birthday Weekend" celebration, hosted in Jamestown, New York, by the reorganized Lucy-Desi Museum. Included, as usual, will be tours, seminars, and special celebrity presentations. Confirmed guests include Irma Kusely, Lucy's longtime hair-stylist, and Wanda Clark, her personal secretary for over 25 years. A major celebrity guest (to be announced later this week) will also be appearing.

For daily updates on the festival, visit the Museum's new web site at:

New Lucie/Desi Releases

Both Lucie Arnaz and Desi Arnaz Jr. have released new CD recordings recently.

Lucie's is called "Surviving Success" and is of the "spoken word" variety. Lucie has been touring the country recently speaking on how to successfully balance a family and a career. Lucie draws on her own experiences, both as a child of two people with phenomenal careers, and as a mother, juggling the responsibilities of a family and a career of her own.

Desi's new recording is "Ricci, Desi & Billy: Live from Boulder City." Included on the disc, recorded live at Desi's theatre in Boulder City, Nevada, are such old favorites as "Lady Love," "I Can See Clearly Now," "Help Me Rhonda" and "I'm a Fool." There's also Ricci Martin's own composition, "Stop, Look Around," and two by Billy Hinsche -- "Good Things Are Coming My Way" and "Ride That Wave."

Have a great week everybody!
