Dear Fellow Lucy Fans,

Jamestown Festival...

Plans are coming together for the "Lucy's Birthday Weekend" celebration in Jamestown, New York. Sponsored by the newly-reorganized Lucy-Desi Museum, the festival will be held the weekend of August 2-3-4. Richard Simmons will be the special celebrity guest this year. He appeared with Lucy on a celebrity episode of the TV game show, Body Language, which will be screened at the event.

Also on the bill are Irma Kusely, Lucy's longtime hair stylist, and Wanda Clark, her longtime personal secretary.

For complete information about the weekend, visit the Museum's new website at:

Lucy's Gravesite Moving

Lucie Arnaz has confirmed that the family will be moving the urns containing the ashes of her mother, Lucille Ball, and her grandmother, DeDe Ball, from Forest Lawn cemetery in Los Angeles to a cemetery in Jamestown. This was a family decision, made nearly a year ago by Lucie, her brother Desi, her uncle Fred Ball, and her aunt Cleo Smith. They all felt it would be nice to have the entire family buried together. Lucie promises that special arrangements have been made with the Jamestown cemetery to allow for fans to visit Lucy's gravesite -- and indicates it will probably be much easier to do so there than at the original site in California.

Thanks for Writing...

We appreciate all the nice comments regarding the revisions we have made recently to our website. We will continue making additions/refinements to the site throughout the coming months, and hope you will feel free to "participate" by offering suggestions.

Thanks again, and...

Have a great week everybody!
