Dear Fellow Lucyfans:
Lucy Gets a Hallmark
T'is the season to send a receive holiday greetings, and none will be more pleasing than the news we received last week that I Love Lucy will be moving to the Hallmark cable channel next year when it's current booking on TV Land ends.
The long-running Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz comedy will join the Hallmark channel in January, 2009.
Also moving to Hallmark will be such TV favorites as Cheers and 7th Heaven.
Colorization Gets a Rave
Now that CBS/Paramount Home Video's "I Love Lucy: The Complete Set" package of DVDs has been on the market a few weeks, reviewers are starting to notice one of the set's special bonus features -- a newly colorized version of "Lucy Goes to Scotland." And for the most part, the "new" Lucy is getting rave reviews.
