Dear Fellow Lucy Fans,

"The Writer as Artist" - Special Los Angeles Exhibition
Lucy fans in the Los Angeles area take note:
Artist Christina Carroll, daughter of I Love Lucy writer Bob Carroll Jr. (photo, right), is coordinating a special art exhibit that includes the artwork of her famous father.
Entitled, "Line by Line: The Writer as Artist," the exhibit includes artwork by Bob and five other Hollywood writers: William Link, Bruce Eric Kaplan, Julian Fellowes, Frances Marion, and Jean-Claude Carriere. It will be presented for 3 months, June 16 through September 15, 2003, at the Writers Guild Foundation in Los Angeles.
Ms. Carroll tells us the exhibit evolved out of a statement her father made recently while showing her all of his artwork. "This is how I wish I was known," he remarked, "not just for the I Love Lucy jazz..."
The Writers Guild Foundation is located at 7000 West Third Street (at Fairfax). Exhibit hours: Mon-Fri 10A - 5P, Thursdays 10A-8P. Closed 12:30-1:30P for lunch. Closed last Friday of each month.
Have a great week, everybody! __________
