Dear Fellow Lucy Fans,

More Merchandise in Development

Representatives of Desilu, too, CBS Television, and Unforgettable Licensing held a "thank you" party last week in New York for the various manufacturers of the I Love Lucy merchandise currently on the market. Among those also in attendance were Lucie Arnaz and Lucy-lookalike/impressionist Suzanne LaRusch. Held in conjunction with New York's annual licensing show, the party was Desilu's way of saying how pleased the company is with the various dolls, clothing, paper goods, etc. bearing images from I Love Lucy.

Collectors will be pleased to learn that all Lucy items are selling very well -- and that more things are on the drawing boards for 2004! We will keep you informed as the new merchandise is unveiled.

"Lucy's Boys" Set for Reunion in August...

Among the events planned for "Lucy's Birthday Celebration" in Jamestown the weekend of August 8-10 is a panel discussion featuring four of the gentlemen who, as youngsters, appeared as Lucille Ball's TV son...

Specifically, the guest list includes Richard Lee and Ronald Lee Simmons -- who, as 6-month olds, were the very first "actors" to play Little Ricky Ricardo. They will be joined by Keith Thibodeaux, who portrayed Little Ricky as an older child (ages 6-10 ?), and by Jimmy Garrett, who played young Jerry Carmichael for three seasons on The Lucy Show.

The panel will be held Saturday morning, August 9, 10A-12N. Admission is $20. For complete information about Lucy's Birthday weekend, visit the Lucy-Desi web site at:

I look forward to seeing many of you there!

Have a great week!
