Still in Love with Lucy

Dear Fellow Lucy Fans,
Remembering Bob Hope
We join the world today in mourning the passing of comedian Bob Hope, who died last night at his home in Toluca Lake, California. He was 100 years of age.
Hope's death, which came just four short weeks after the death of yet another Hollywood icon, actress Katharine Hepburn (who co-starred in Hope's 1956 film, "The Iron Petticoat") truly marks the end of "classic Hollywood."
Hope, of course, was a longtime friend of Lucille Ball, and the two appeared together countless times -- on radio and television programs, in motion pictures, and in Bob's special shows for the military. We saluted their friendship with two articles in our early Star Notes magazines and would like to repeat them here now:
ROYAL PARTNERS: Lucy & Bob Hope
Lucy & Bob: On the Road to Laughter

Have a great week, everybody!
